Project: SOCAR HAOR PROJECT

Duties and Responsibilities:


Elaborating and coordinating the welding specifications and NDE procedures.
Coordination with the field subcontractors for all welding procedure specifications and procedures qualifications report and Auditing of the approved Third-Party NDT Inspection Company
Expedite and supervise the welding procedure qualifications and the qualifications of the welders operating, according to Project specifications and standards.
Monitoring and Controlling all Subcontractor Inspection Activities (Surface preparation Blasting and Painting to ensure and check abrasive, surface profile, coating, environment, carried out wet and dry film thickness checks, and Perform test such as Holliday test, Adhesion test after the coating process will quantify the strength of the bond between substrate & coating). Controlling and evaluating all the Quality Control activities during all the painting activities
Control the QC site welding NDT inspectors and issue of welding electrodes and welding equipment validation.

Duties and Responsibilities:


Inspect Fabrication & Erection of Pipe Spools and Steel Structure as per drawings,Isometrics & Weld Map.
Witnessing Welder Qualification including WPS & PQR.

Ensure Qualified welders and welding consumables as per Qualified WPS & PQR are only used to perform welds.
Carry out Material inspection of received materials, check all mill certificates for material compliance with the project requirements
Verify the electrode/wire specification sheets for compliance with the Contract Documents.
Ensure correct Size & Schedule of pipes, steel structure plates, frames are used, and rectification/Modification is done as per approved procedures.
Visual Inspection before, during and after welding using welding process such as SMAW, GTAW, SAW, FCAW, MIG, MAG Stud welding process of pipes & steel structures plates, shells as per project specification, standards & ITP
Observing joint preparation, assembly practice, preheat temperatures, interposes temperatures, welding techniques, welder performance and post-weld dressing to make certain that the applicable requirements of the WPS and Code are met
Ensure NDT requirements are fulfilled as per ITP & project requirement.
Ensure Correct Purging, Cleaning of pipes are done as specified in specification.
Line checking of pipes to ensure Pipes, Fittings, Accessories, Supports are as per drawing and Specs
Checking for Hydrotesting of Lines and re-instatement after clearance.

Duties and Responsibilities:


Elaborating and coordinating the welding specifications, and codes/standards.
Responsible to control the quality of all fabrication of structural steel, tanks & piping as per the approved drawings.
Responsible to control the work quality of all installation of structural steel, mechanical equipment. piping etc. as per the approved drawings, specifications, ITP's. and QCP's
Controlling the quality as per ITP's and QCP's of sandblasting, welding, paintings etc.
Coordination with the field subcontractors and the Third-Party NDT Inspection Company
Auditing of the approved Third-Party NDT Inspection Company and ensuring correct application of NDT.
Witnessing of welder qualifications testing and procedures qualification testing and performing daily welder's audits
