Engineering Qualifications & Experience on ships & yachts:

Capt. Roumen Bojilov has passed an Extensive Training with International Register of Shipping (I R O S) in 2002 & 2009. He was trained in New Orleans, USA to inspect the operation & maintenance on Engine Room Equipment: Engines, Generators, Oily Water Separators, Emergency Fire Pumps, Emergency Diesel Generators. He obtained from IROS a Qualifications as Field Surveyor Category 2. Please, find attached the Record of Qualifications!
In 2003 Capt. Roumen has been trained by Panama Maritime Authority in ship's inspection of Engine Room and Deck Machinery equipments. He obtained PMA (Panama Maritime Authority) Safety Inspector License and Tag, as he was inspecting ships & yacht in British Colombia, Canada & Florida, USA.
In 2004 Capt. Roumen has been trained by Bulgarian Register of Shipping (BRS),as he was assigned as BRS Non-Exclusive Surveyor for Canada & USA.
In 2005 Capt. Roumen has been trained by Corvib in Toronto, Canada in Non-Destructive Testing ( Ultrasonic ) Testing. Please, find attached the Certificate of Training.
In 2007 Capt. Roumen has been trained in Vancouver, Canada in Infrared (IR) Thermography Imaging.
In 2008 Capt. Roumen Bojilov has been offered by the biggest in the world Yacht Repair Yard-Bradford Marine Bahamas a posiition Marine Superintendent, due to his Engineering Qualifications & Crew Management Skills, to implement Mechanical & Electric Trouble-shooting on yachts, using Infrared Thermography & Ultrasonic Measurements. He possess his on Infrared Camera FLIR & Ultrasonic Gauge Krautkramer. Many repairs have been carried out on Detroit Diesel, Caterpillar, MWM, MTU & MAN engines. Predictive & Preventive Maintenance using IR ( Infrared ) & UTM ( Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement) are the keys of cutting significatly Maintenance Expenses, what Capt. Roumen offer to every ship/ yacht owner.
